Day Services
Golden Horizons offers physically and mentally stimulating activities to keep seniors' minds as sharp as possible, along with social activities. We also offer:
- A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Health care monitoring
- Counseling
- Referral and care coordination
- Caregiver Support group
- Dementia training classes
Transportation is available and provided curb-to-curb by Bay Metro/Dial A Ride. Cost is $1.50 each way. Initial arrangements are made by the Program Coordinator.

Dementia Support Group
Our support group for caregivers provides information and referral services.
We meet the second Tuesday of every month from 6 to 8 pm at Golden Horizons, 1001 Marsac St, Bay City, MI 48708
The Caregiver Support Group is open and free of charge to anyone who is a family caregiver for someone who suffers from dementia. We meet at Golden Horizons 1001 Marsac Street Bay City Michigan. Our parking lot and entrance is on the Fremont side of the building. Any questions please call (989)892-6644 and ask for Stacy. No sign-up is necessary, just drop in.
Dementia Training
We offer complimentary dementia training classes for caregivers, covering:
- Alzheimer's Overview
- Effective Communicaiton
- Managing Behaviors
- Keeping the Mind Sharp
